Sony has recently released system update 2.05 for the PS Vita. It is only a minor update that Sony have said stabilises the system when using some of the features, although they haven’t eluded to what those features might be.
But, more importantly to some members of the community, it also blocks attempts to bypass the Vitas PSP security features. So in other words, its really more of a security update to stop hackers playing emulated games.
Maybe, just maybe, if Sony concentrated on building the Vitas games library rather then on hackers playing old Nintendo games, maybe they could shift a few more Vita units.
